Microsoft has announced its Microsoft Content Services “Platform of the Future,” signaling an evolution from traditional Enterprise Content Management into an end-to-end stack of software and services connecting entire workplaces and enabling intelligent content management. Microsoft’s new platform integrates AI and cognitive services with existing SharePoint and Office 365 technologies.
This announcement comes from Microsoft Inspire 2018, taking place this week in Las Vegas.
As part of this unveiling, SkySync was announced as one of 11 partners companies joining as charter members of the brand new Microsoft’s Content Services Partner Program. These partners include system integrators (SIs) and independent software vendors (ISVs) leading the way for Microsoft customers to realize the value of Microsoft 365 more rapidly, by enabling them to deploy this innovative new Microsoft Content Services platform.
SkySync’s unique Enterprise Content Integration platform empowers Microsoft customers with disruption-free onboarding into Office 365 – specifically OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams. SkySync enables large-scale migration or synchronization of files from existing local or competitive cloud content management systems into Office 365. The SkySync platform combines analysis, bi-directional synchronization, and auto-remediation of cross-system friction to deliver worry-free migration or long-term hybrid coexistence if needed.
SkySync brings multiple competitive wins to the Microsoft table, including most recently the win-back of MGM Resorts from Box to Office 365, referenced by Jeff Teper, Microsoft Corporate VP, in his keynote address at the North American SharePoint Conference.
SkySync enabled the MGM Resorts team to quickly and seamlessly migrate data to OneDrive for more than 5,000 employees. “We encountered very few hiccups, and employees experienced a seamless transition,” says Rodney Lee, Executive Director of the Product Portfolio Management Group at MGM Resorts. MGM Resorts and Cognizant accomplished the migration to OneDrive in fewer than 30 days by utilizing SkySync’s migration solution.
