Our Leadership Team
Mark is the founder and CEO of SkySync and has spent over 25-years in the Information Technology industry. Prior to founding SkySync, Mark was the founder and CEO of BlueThread Technologies, the creators of SmartDesk, a configurable ECM application framework built upon Microsoft SharePoint. BlueThread also created and architected StoragePoint, a SharePoint-based storage solution architected to dramatically improve the performance and management of large-volumes of content. StoragePoint was subsequently sold to an Insight Venture Partners/Bessemer Ventures portfolio company in 2010.
Previously, Mark was Senior Vice President of Sales and Product Marketing at KnowledgeLake, a SharePoint ECM company, as well as Image Process Design, a FileNet/IBM ISV. Mark was also the founder and CEO of MediaVision (an electronic arts company), which was later sold to VideoSource in 1995. Mark holds several ECM-related technical certifications, as well as earned numerous awards for audio design and engineering while he was the co-founder and CEO of FutureSound early in his career.
Steve is the Chief Product and Strategy Officer for SkySync and has over 27-years in the Information Technology industry, focusing primarily on web technology, workflow, imaging, and ECM solutions. He has designed, built, and delivered ECM applications for several Fortune 500 companies including some of the country’s largest insurance and financial companies. Steve, a Microsoft Certified Professional with a degree in Electrical Engineering and a Six Sigma Green Belt, has also worked within the manufacturing industry IT space, delivering inventory management, data warehouse, and workflow applications.
Via historical roles as a developer, team lead, and development lead, Steve has managed all phases of the software lifecycle; including design, development, documentation, automated testing, and QA. As a hands-on executive, he has delivered several enterprise-class ECM solutions leveraging a variety of workflow engines and content management platforms.
For the majority of his career, Shaun has filled the role of Senior Architect, leading teams that spanned multiple geographies and time zones. Shaun specializes in designing and implementing ReST/SOAP web services, spatial, and analytic applications, as well as single instance, multi-tenant large-scale/high performance web applications.
In Dennis’s 30+ years of sales leadership experience, he has built, run, and transformed direct and channel sales teams in companies ranging from software startups to global multinationals. Prior to joining SkySync, he led the sales due diligence process for an early-stage high-tech startup resulting in a $50M+ Series B raise. His past leadership roles also include positions with NCR Corporation and Orange Business Services. During his career, Dennis has gained a wealth of domain knowledge related to Artificial Intelligence Software, Managed IT Services, Telecommunications, and Systems Integration. He is an awarded North American Sales Executive and dynamic leader with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Dennis has a Master of Business Administration in International Business and Marketing obtained from Loyola University, Chicago, IL.
Brad is the Chief Marketing Officer for SkySync and has over 20-years of proven success in building teams and executing on marketing initiatives for software and technology enterprises. With a strong background in global product, solution and corporate marketing strategies and execution, he excels in understanding key business drivers and integrating value-driven marketing initiatives to ignite revenue growth and positioning – driving previous company revenues from $15 million to over $100 million in less than five years, resulting in a successful initial public offering (IPO) in September of 2013.
Prior to joining the SkySync team, Brad served as Vice President, Marketing for Covisint – where he joined in 2005, and has also held various marketing positions for other technology and engineering firms.
Matt Doyle joined SkySync as Chief Financial Officer in May 2020. In this position, Doyle is responsible for the financial strategy and direction at SkySync.
Prior to joining SkySync, Doyle was the CFO of Rock Ventures, The Family Office and Coordination entity for Quicken Loans Founder and Cleveland Cavaliers Chairman Dan Gilbert’s portfolio of more than 100 companies. While at Rock Ventures, Doyle focused on business development, investments, finance, accounting, treasury, enterprise-wide system, and reporting.
Before Rock Ventures, Doyle worked at PwC in the Assurance Practice and then the Transaction Services group focusing on both Corporate and Private Equity clients. Doyle has broad industry experience, including software, automotive, medical devices, healthcare, services, and consumer products. In addition to his domestic experience, Matt has also worked on cross-border transactions, including deals in North America and Europe.
Matt is a Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Public Accountant. He received his BS in Finance and MS in Accounting from Michigan State University.
Terry is SkySync’s Chief Technology Officer, bringing more than 20 years of software industry expertise to the table. Over his two decades of experience, Terry has led a start-up to acquisition, wearing many hats along the way – from Director of Client Services for Engineered Data Products, to Vice President of Engineering.
Prior to joining SkySync, Terry served as the Director of Engineering for Pitney Bowes, successfully developing and unifying geo-diverse teams across engineering, IT and services.
In addition to his extensive experience in engineering and IT, Terry has a PhD in communications.
Lydia is the Vice President of Client Solutions for SkySync and has over 20-years within the ECM industry, primarily focused on enterprise-level strategic accounts. Talented at team building, pre-sales, account management, and dedicated to servant leadership, Lydia focuses on an exceptional client experience from pre-sales to post. She is a gifted strategist and understands that each interaction with the client is an opportunity to further develop the partnership
Prior to joining the SkySync team, Lydia built and directed teams at leading organizations including Kofax, KnowledgeLake and Liberty IMS.
